reta Lee headlined her dinner theater, Reta Lee's Country Music Club, In  Branson, Missouri for two years.  She performed two shows each day— six days per week.  Her Manager, John Milam, owner of the night club, was forced to sell the club in Branson and return to Las Vegas in 1997 after his doctor informed him the stress he was under in Branson could cause him to have a heart attack or a stroke. After you read Reta’s book, “The Ingredient Called Love” you will understand why Reta totally supported Johnnie’s decision to leave Branson and return home to Las Vegas. She did not want Johnnie to repeat what her dad went Through before his death.       Reta Lee’s Roots Run Deep.

Reta Lee's book, The Ingredient Called Love, a daughter’s love for her father,” is based on the true story of Vernon Cecil Fuller of Winters, Texas, born January 31, 1916 and died January10, 1988.  Vernon Fuller passed away peacefully in his daughter’s arms, Reta Lee Fuller, in her home in Amery, Wisconsin, and surrounded by his granddaughters, Pamela and Kimberly, and friends, one year and two months following his massive stroke. Fulfilling a promise Reta made to her father, she flew his body back home to Winters, Texas and buried him next to the grave of her mother, Minnie Lee Merck Fuller, who died when Reta was very young.

Reta Lee CD's “Dreams Come True, & “Dare to Dream” received two Number one chart hits, “Ship of Fools” and “Hey Baby..Que Paso?” (C.M.A.A. Airplay International Chart Nashville, Tennessee.) Reta gives her grateful thanks to the air play given her songs by all the wonderful independent radio stations in the United States, the Spanish and European Radio Stations, and most of all to her wonderful friends who supported and embraced her.

She received the C.M.A.A Rising Star Award in 1996 and was nominated for female vocalist of the year.  She performed at Opryland at the award's show.  The critics in Branson, Las Vegas, Nashville and Europe praised Reta Lee for her sincere and----from the heart---delivery of her songs.  Fans say over and over again, "Reta Lee makes me feel special, like she is singing only to  me.  She always closed  her shows by saying, "It's people like you who make people like me."
